Donelson, TN
Located east of downtown Nashville, TN, Donelson was named in honor of John Donelson, the co-founder of Nashville and the father-in-law of Andrew Jackson, the 7th President of the United States. Donelson is home to the Opry Mills shopping mall and the Grand Ole Opry.
Hermitage TN
Situated in eastern Davidson County, Hermitage is named in honor of The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson?s residence. The city is home to a wide array of retail stores and is the technology headquarters of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a large Big Four firm. Separated by the Stones River, Hermitage and Donelson are considered sister-cities. They share a joint Chamber of Commerce and a Christmas parade.
Wilson County
Wilson County is home to the Cedars of Lebanon State Park an 8.887-acre tract with 831-acres of recreational usage including 119 campsites, a group lodge, picnic areas, an Olympic-size swimming pool and many hiking trails.
