Located in Davidson County, Bellevue/West Nashville is considered Nashville's 2nd largest suburb. Bellevue was originally nestled along railroad tracks near the Harpeth River until about 40 years ago when the area's growth marked its official transition to being a suburb of Nashville. The weekly independent and popular newspaper, Westview, which is published in Bellevue.
The West End
The west end is home to Vanderbilt University as well as some of the best restaurants in Nashville.
